All our safari vehicles are regularly maintained and equipped with first aid kits, communication devices, and emergency supplies.

Guide Training

Our guides undergo rigorous safety training including wildlife behavior, emergency response, and first aid certification.

Medical Support

We maintain relationships with clinics in all safari areas and can arrange medical evacuation if needed.

24/7 Support

Our operations team is available around the clock to assist with any safety concerns during your trip.

Wildlife Safety Tips

Health Requirements & Vaccinations

Yellow Fever

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if arriving from a country with risk of transmission. Recommended for all travelers.

Malaria Prophylaxis

Tanzania is a malaria zone. Consult your doctor about antimalarial medication. We recommend bringing mosquito repellent and sleeping under nets.

Other Recommended Vaccines

Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Tetanus, Cholera (for high-risk areas), and Rabies (for extended stays).

Consult a travel medicine specialist 6-8 weeks before your trip for personalized advice.

Travel Medical Kit

We recommend bringing:

  • Prescription medications (with original labels)
  • Antimalarial medication
  • Diarrhea treatment (oral rehydration salts, loperamide)
  • Antihistamines for allergies
  • Motion sickness tablets
  • Pain/fever relievers (paracetamol, ibuprofen)
  • Antibacterial ointment
  • Bandages and blister treatment
  • Insect repellent (DEET 30-50%)
  • High SPF sunscreen

Health Warnings

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Emergency medical evacuation
  • Trip cancellation/interruption
  • Lost/stolen baggage
  • Adventure activities coverage
Many standard policies exclude "high-risk" activities like safaris. Ensure your policy explicitly covers safari activities.
